This Mytholon dagger has a detailed and martial appearance. The silvery, double-edged blade has a narrow double fuller. This blade is shred-resistant, highly flexible, and durable, standing up to full-contact blows in LARP.
Further down, the crossguard is horizontal and blocky. The quillons taper into thinner sections down the length and angle slightly away from the blade at pronounced points. A stud on the guard accents each segment of the quillons. As an extra layer of detail, the crossguard has a hammered, forged texture. In the center, known as the chappe, the crossguard has a studded triangular shape pointing toward the handle that extends slightly over the base of the blade.
Moving onto the hilt, the spiraled brown handle ensures a comfortable and secure grip that conforms to your hand. In between the spirals are intricately carved faux wires. The ring pommel at the bottom is steely grey with a hammered texture like the guard, making it look like it came straight out of the forge.
This dagger is available in two options: With or Without the fiberglass core. If you order this dagger With a Fiberglass Core, it’ll become a great sidearm for close-quarters combat during intense LARP sessions. This means having a fiberglass core will make it sturdy for melee combat and even strong enough to parry. If you order this dagger Without a Fiberglass Core, this makes it a great flexible option. The lack of a core makes this renaissance foam dagger more flexible and bendy on impact.
